Thalakkal Chanthu, also known as Thalakkal Chandu, was a legendary archer and the commander-in-chief of the Kurichya warriors who fought alongside Pazhassi Raja against British colonial forces in Kerala. Renowned for his exceptional mastery of the bow and his deep knowledge of forest warfare, Chanthu became a symbol of courage, resistance, and sacrifice during one of the earliest organized struggles against British rule in South India.
